Jeanette and I got out to try a couple of places in the Mississippi Ave. area. Our first stop was Storm Breaker Brewing. Storm Breaker took over the location where Amnesia Brewing had been. It is a small neighborhood brewpub offering OK beer and a limited food menu prepared in a very limited kitchen. We had a look around and a beer and then headed on. We decide to do some pizza sampling and first went to Life of Pie then to Mississippi Pizza. With our pizza craving satisfied it was time to try another pub. We did a walk over to Ex Novo Brewing on N. Flint Ave. Ex Novo is unique in that 100% of their profits go the charity. They have done a major make over of an old warehouse. It was nicely done and we ordered beers and a little something to nibble on. All was good quality and it was a nice place to talk and finish our evening.
