Jeanette and I did a road trip to coast on a rainy Sunday. Of course for lunch we had to find brewpub to stop into. Buoy Beer has shown up a several beer festival so it seem natural to try them in their hometown. First off fabulous location and nice pub layout. The view of the water was great and seeing sea lions through a glass floor was a fun bonus. Service was great and we both ended up having there Stout that we both agreed was very good. The only downer was the food. It was not bad and at a fair price but just not up to the rest of the experience. They tried to do something special but for us it was just off the mark. So for use a great place for a beer and view but we will try some other places in the future for food. But considering this is Astoria this may be as good as it gets.
