I got down to the Oregon Brewers Festival early afternoon on Thursday. The crowd was manageable. I new later in the day and on the weekend the place would be packed. Some say this is the largest beer festival in North America and by seven it will be wall to wall people and out of some beers. This is truly the festival of blonds. There were no porters, stouts or doppelbocks. They did have a CDA and several reds so it was enough for me to make it interesting. It was also fortunate that most of those were pretty good.
