Marilee and I went to the Cheers to Belgium Beers Friday evening. We met Meg and Mark there and set about trying a number of different Belgium Style beers. If you like Belgiums this is the place with 40 beers on tap. You can sample a full range of Saisons, Farm House ales, Fruit Ales, Spiced Ales, Stouts, IPAs and a Lambic. If you are not wild about Belgium yeast then is place to remind you of that. It was interesting trying the Lambic and seeing what a yeast sour beer was like. Unlike past years there was no one type of yeast that all of the brewers had to use. The brewers were just ask to bring their best beers.
